The second week in Okinawa was much more eventful! Aaron had this entire week off, so we ventured out and explored little parts of the island together.
FISH MARKET | March 5, 2019
The first place we went to was the Makishi fish market. It was the first time either of us had visited a fish market, and we were amazed by the quality of the fish.

So much to eat but we ate mostly with our eyes, mainly because we weren’t adventurous enough to try the fish eyes pictured above.

Food is cooked right in front of you, made to order. It all looked and smelled so good, our heads were spinning trying to decide on what to eat.

We ended up getting a couple of platters to try several different fish. The freshness was unforgettable and we’ll definitely revisit the fish market before our time here is up.
