Thirteenth week of Physical Chemistry (CHEM 3321) with Dr. Nielsen at UT Dallas!
DISCLAIMER IF YOU MISSED CLASS: We will ONLY be covering material through the end of Chapter 29 on the upcoming exam. Don’t worry about Chapter 31. (This test contains material from Chapters 25, 27, 28, and 29!)
Hello classmates – just letting you know I’ll be posting all of the class and workshop notes for the rest of the semester! It might take a couple of days, but I’ll be sure to get them uploaded. I know how difficult it can be to keep up at the end of the semester ~ I’m definitely struggling too ~ so hopefully this helps!
As always, feel free to reach out to me for anything and I’ll try to get back to you as quickly as possible! Not sure why, but I don’t always get notifications for GroupMe, so if you need to reach me urgently, feel free to comment below or send me a message on Instagram ~ I always get push notifications for those two!
CHAPTER 29 | November 11, 2019
We just finished up Chapter 29-7; Dr. Nielsen uploaded notes for this on his website at this link.
Other notes from Dr. Nielsen’s website were on the Kinetics lecture notes, where we took a look at the catalyst, starting on pg. 7.
CHAPTER 29 | November 13, 2019
More website notes on Michaelis-Menten Data, where we referenced a couple of charts to demonstrate the theoretical limit and the turnover number (k2).
We also had a brief preview of what’s coming up next: Adsorption Isotherms (this is a link to a ppt on Dr. Nielsen’s website).
CHAPTER 31 | November 15, 2019
I’ll upload these after class sometime, but don’t worry too much about it quite yet. We are stopping at the end of Chapter 29 for the upcoming exam on Tuesday, so focus on that!
